Board of Trustee member bids farewell at reception

NIC’s Board of Trustees and president held a farewell reception, for retiring board member, Ron Vieselmeyer on Nov. 9.

Vieselmeyer served on the board for six years and says he plans now in retirement to travel with his wife and do short term missionary work.

“He insisted on helping hold the board together, he’s always been the person to say it’s about whats best for the school and best for the students, said trustee Ken Howard.

At the reception, Vieselmeyer was presented with an NIC poster titled Past, Present, Future with photos of the campus throughout its development.

“Ron has been very supportive of the students and a great addition to the board, he will be missed,” ASNIC President, Julie Salinas said.

Veiselmeyer had one more message for students.

“Keep your telescope focused on the vision and your microscope on the mission”  Veiselmeyer said.
