NIC women’s basketball routs Snow College

The No. 2 ranked North Idaho College women’s basketball team turned up the heat and melted Snow College beating them 81-50 Jan. 24 at Rolly Williams Court.

Snow gave us a really good game,” said NIC head coach Chris Carlson. “We got some good stops early which led to some good transition stops later. We really pushed the ball.”

Katie Buskey hit a three-pointer in the first half of the game for NIC. Buskey scored 14 points and added four rebounds and two assists. Aimee Durbidge finished with 13 points and Kabri Emerson had 10 points and three rebounds.

The Lady Cardinals led the Badgers 43-18 at the half.

Our bench is playing well,” Carlson said. “We elevated the level of play. It was a great team effort all the way around.”
