Publications Club Hosts Karaoke

If you recently heard loud, strained voices and thumping, loud bass emitting from the lower level of the SUB, it’s likely that the Publications Club was responsible.

On March 6, at approximately 6:30p.m., Pub. Club hosted a selection of Karaoke songs composed by the club’s adviser, Geoff Carr, including indie and underground music commingled with popular hits and classics.

A crowd of roughly 25 students could be found downstairs dancing to the hits of Michael Jackson, performing duets of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Foo Fighter’s “Learn to Fly,” and rocking out solos to Oasis, The Beatles, Talking Heads, and many more after a brief workshop led by Carr on how to create your own Karaoke.
