The Lady Cardinals look to take the league by storm

The Lady Cardinals are 2-3 since the start of the spring semester have five games left in the regular season.

When asked how does she expect her team to finish the regular season, Katie King, sophomore starting point guard said “We are more than capable of winning every game when we play as a team and everyone brings their game we are a really strong team.”

The first of the five games left on the schedule, comes against the Cardinals biggest rival the College of Southern Idaho. These two teams have already played each other

twice this year both getting the victory on their own floors, the last game however between these two teams was not even close as the Cardinals beat them by a lopsided score of 90-59.

“We have a very similar game plan going into this one as we did to when we played them at home,” said King about the final stretch of the season. “We must get stops on defense and allow no easy baskets, and offensively we have too be strong both inside and outside.”

Many Lady Cardinals will play there last remaining games of their careers. King said she had a great time at NIC.

With five games left on the schedule two of which are at home can the Lady Cardinals finish strong going into the regional tournament? The next question is will these Cardinals be dancing in March in Salina, Kansas at the national tournament?
