NIC vice president resigns.

Even though many are mourning the departure of Mark Browning, NIC vice president of communications and governmental relations, the atmosphere at his going away event was full of reminiscence.

“I have nothing to say but thank you,” Browning said in his closing statement. He will now be packing up his wife and kids and migrating to a new job, house and life at the College of Western Idaho.

Browning, who has been employed at NIC for the last five years, is known for his friendly disposition and “powerhouse” attitude, as his colleges called it, in his work environment.

Amidst the whirlwind of goodbyes, Browning assured everyone that the reason for his departure was not because of lack of compensation or change in leadership, but because he wanted to be closer to family.

Browning’s willingness to care for others and the affect of his servitude will be missed and unforgotten.
