Physical plant staff sends out parking request to students

Bill McElver, Physical Plant manager, said the problem is often when athletes are parked overnight for an away game and the cars are scattered around campus.

McElver said snowplows are forced to work around the cars, often leaving potentially hazardous mounds of snow and icy spots in the parking lots.

If the designated lot is full, McElver said that lot A is the secondary parking option.

McElver said that the physical plant department has ordered signs to better illustrate the designated areas for students and faculty, but it may take time for them to be put in place.
