In the second game, NIC’s Shelby Carter broke Shelby Gonzales’ career home run record, which she set in 2011, by hitting her 31st home run, a two-run home run in the first inning.

Amber Meyers followed with a home run of her own to make it 5-0 in the first inning.

LaVaute added to the home run parade with a two-run home run to make it 9-0 in the second inning.
